Sigma UK is pleased to announce a free photo walk, showcasing the renowned and lesser-known locations spanning from the South Bank to City Thameslink Station in London. This event offers a valuable chance for photography enthusiasts to network while partaking in a leisurely exploration of the captivating London City area.
Designed as a laid-back session to appreciate the art of photography amongst peers, the walk is scheduled to last around three hours, inclusive of intermittent breaks. While formal instruction is not provided, there will be a SIGMA representative on hand to offer assistance and support throughout the journey. Participants will also have the exclusive opportunity to test the latest SIGMA lenses.Â
The walk commences at Tate Modern, crossing the Millennium Bridge towards Carter Lane. Here, attendees can discover hidden historical markers such as Wardrobe Place and Ireland Yard. The walk will then proceed towards St Paul’s Cathedral and the Old Bailey. If time permits, the route will include Holborn Viaduct and the historic stonework of St Bartholomew’s Hospital, featuring a plaque in honour of William Wallace.
The photo walk will conclude with a visit to the coffee shop located within City Thameslink Station. We look forward to your participation in this enriching photographic experience.
We look forward to seeing you there!
