Sigma Wide Angle Zoom 28-105 F4-5.6 UC
A first for Sigma
The Sigma Corporation is renowned for its prolific output of lenses over the years. Sigma have produced a 14mm lens, a 39-80mm lens, a 28-84mm lens and even a 350-1200mm monster zoom lens plus virtually every other lens imaginable. However, for the first time ever Sigma hae launched a 28-105mm F4-5.6 UC Zoom lens.
Sigma are confident that this Ultra Compact lens will provie popular as a standard zoom. The design includes a double-cam internal focus/zooming system which means the optical construction (15 elements in 12 groups) can be housed in a tiny, lightweight body.
The front element dpes not rotate which makes using filters, especially square, special effect filters, much more convenient.
The internal focus system is very advanced and when used in conjuction with the perfect lens hood offers maximum protection from extraneous light.
The ZEN finish ultra-compact IF lens never varies in length and focuses down to 50cm through the entire zoom range.
