SIGMA’s new OS2 optical stabilization algorithm, first revealed with the new 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports lens, will be coming to the 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports in the near future. With this update, image stabilisation performance will be improved from approximately 4 stops, to approximately 6.5 stops at the wide end and 5.5 stops at the telephoto end*.
In addition, for Sony E-mount lenses, the AF-C tracking performance has been improved. The firmware is currently in the final development stage and will be released soon.
