SIGMA’S EX RANGE IS WIDENED CONSIDERABLY
Sigma announce the arrival of a brand new 14mm F2.8 EX HSM lens. This hyper wide-angle is a rectilinear lens which contains aspherical lens elements which effectively correct the distortion usually found in ultra wide-angle lenses. The lens also boasts special low-dispersion glass which eliminates chromatic aberration, boosts peripheral brightness and dramatically improves edge to edge image quality.
The F2.8 maximum aperture provides the bright image expected from such a fast lens. As news of this launch leaks out much interest has been shown from the professional news gathering agencies as the Sigma 14mm F2.8 EX HSM. makes a perfect wideangle lens for SLR cameras with digital backs.
Sigma have incorporated a rear focusing system plus their revolutionary new HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) in the Sigma, Canon and Nikon versions to ensure super-fast and silent auto focusing.
The large convex front element does not rotate when it focuses down to its minimum focusing distance of just 18 cms (7.1 inches)!
Finished in Sigma’s stylish and durable gold flecked EX livery, the 14mm F2.8 EX HSM lens comes complete with lens hood, gel filter holder at rear of the lens, padded lens pouch and 3 Year UK Warranty.
