Notice to the users of SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary

Thank you for purchasing and using our products.
We have found that the SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary in MFT mount does not properly correct distortion during JPEG shooting.
Currently, we are working on the necessary actions and updating the firmware of the lens.
Below are also some notes relating to the SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary in Sony E mount.

[Phenomenon]
During JPEG shooting, it does not correctly compensate for distortion.
* For RAW images, it is possible to correct distortion by using the adjustment functions in compatible software.

To customers who have purchased the SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary lenses for Sony E mount:
– In the camera setting, select “Auto” in the distortion compensation from the lens compensation menu.
– If the camera does not incorporate the lens compensation function, the lens cannot offer distortion compensation.
* Sony cameras have a different image circle from those of MFT, so the distortion data above is not the same.
