We released the 3D design data in a hope that a number of manufacturers would develop accessories dedicated for the fp, in addition to those SIGMA develops. Its specifications such as the camera body dimensions and the screw positions are publicly available. It is our view that having third-party accessories available will help build better shooting systems, which will ultimately bring greater benefits to the users.
