Interchangeable lens camera systems were designed to offer photographers more options, allowing them to change lenses freely and have more flexible photographic expression. Nevertheless, each interchangeable lens is limited to the format of its specific camera system.
Lenses are the key tools to creating photographic expression; yet there is no single system that sets the standard making lenses compatible with all systems and allowing photographers to continue to enjoy the functions and qualities of the interchangeable lenses on which they have come to depend.
SIGMA’s top priorities include creating lenses that ensure photographers get the shots they desire and that can be used for many years; we’ve has always understood that the lens is the tool that leads to true and personal photographic expression.
As an experienced lens manufacturer that has been creating a diverse range of interchangeable lenses, our desire and know-how is crystalized in this unique chargeable service, “Mount Conversion Service”*. With this service, the mount of the SIGMA lenses you currently own can be converted to the mount of another camera body.
Our goal is to provide more freedom for photographers to select new camera bodies without the worry of having to discard their lens collection. SIGMA wants to help you keep those lenses for a long time no matter what camera system you’re using and can now change the mount of your lens by adjusting it to fit a change in your desired camera system. .

Service Overview
All lenses from SIGMA’s new three product lines (Art, Contemporary, Sports) will qualify for this chargeable “Mount Conversion Service”. It enables customers to convert the mount of their current lenses, and we will change the relevant parts for a different mount and its internal core system accordingly.
Currently, the following lenses from those three product lines (Art, Contemporary, Sports) are eligible for this service.
Interchangeable lenses for SLR / DSLR cameras (As of August, 2013):
35mm F1.4 DG HSM, 120-300mm F2.8 DG OS HSM, 30mm F1.4 DC HSM, 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC MACRO OS HSM / DC MACRO HSM. 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM. Conversion available for: SIGMA, SONY, NIKON, PENTAX, CANON
Interchangeable lenses for Mirrorless cameras (As of August, 2013):
19mm F2.8 DN, 30mm F2.8 DN, 60mm F2.8 DN. Conversion available for: MICRO FOUR THIRDS, SONY E-mount.
It is not possible to convert a lens to a mount that SIGMA has not released. The exclusive specification, such as OS function, is subject to adjustment after converting the mount.
