Award Winning SIGMA Lenses – TIPA WORLD AWARDS 2023

SIGMA is pleased to announce that the SIGMA 24mm F1.4 DG DN | Art, SIGMA 16-28mm F2.8 DG DN | Contemporary and SIGMA 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports have been recognised at this year’s TIPA World Awards 2023.

The top choice for street, architecture and landscape photographers, this fast F1.4 maximum aperture, 11-bladed diaphragm lens is also ideal for low-light images and astrophotography. It features two FLD, one SLD and four aspherical elements that eliminate distortion and significantly suppress coma flare, resulting in sharp images from edge-to-edge. Attach two filters at the same time using the front 72mm filter thread and rear filter holder, which accommodates sheet-type filters. Combine a front ND or circular polariser with a rear filter to create unique effects. The lens delivers outstanding sharpness owing to its advanced optical and mechanical design, which is critical in this focal length class.

A perfect all-around lens for travel, architecture, street and everyday photography, this ultra-wide-angle zoom offers a fast constant maximum aperture of F2.8, resulting in faster shutter speeds in low-light situations. The lens features internal zoom and focus mechanisms so the barrel length remains constant, resulting in a well-balanced lens that is perfect for videographers and gimbal users. In addition, a quiet stepping motor delivers fast and accurate AF performance. The 9-bladed diaphragm and 25cm close-focusing capability create beautiful bokeh effects when shooting close-up portraits and macro-style shots.

With its outstanding 10X zoom, the SIGMA 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports is one of the most versatile ultra-telephoto zoom lenses on the market for aerial, sports and wildlife photography. Its newly designed HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motor delivers fast and accurate AF throughout the whole focal range, and is perfectly suited for use with subject, animal and face detection focusing modes. The dual action zoom function allows users to turn the zoom ring for fine focus adjustments, or simply push or pull the lens to quickly punch in and out on the action. The zoom lock can be used to set focus at all marked focal distances, and three easy-access AFL buttons can be customised to personal preferences. To assure steady shots even in challenging conditions the lens incorporates SIGMA’s new OS2 Optical Stabilizer algorithm that delivers a startling seven stops advantage at the wide end and six stops at the telephoto end.
